City of Murdock Council Minutes
March 14, 2018
A Public Meeting was held at 5:00p.m. on Wednesday March 14, 2018 to discuss the TDS Franchise for the City of Murdock.. All Council members were present as well as Adam Simmonds and Trista Kavanagh. Mike Wentzel from TDS was at the meeting to present information regarding TDS providing Cable Service as a choice for residents of Murdock. Discussion was held and questions answered. The Public meeting was adjourned at 5:30p.m.
The Murdock City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5:30p.m. with all members present. Adam Simmonds was also present.
February meeting minutes were read and approved with a motion by Diederich and seconded by Hoff and passed unanimously.
A motion of approve the TDS Franchise was made by Demuth, seconded by Thorson and passed unanimously. City Clerk Diederich will be in contact with the TDS Rep to move forward with the agreement.
Discussion was held on residents who received letters about unlicensed vehicles. All had been licensed or removed except one who has been in contact with the city clerk.
Adam asked to purchase new flags for along the highway on holidays. Thorson made a motion to purchase the flags and Diederich seconded and passed unanimously.
A motion to pay all bills was made by Hoff seconded by Thorson and passed unanimously.
There being no further business a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Diederich seconded by Demuth and passed unanimously.

Since Winter does not seem to want to leave us, please remember to move your cars during a snow event so that plowing of the city streets can be done easily! Hopefully this will have to be the last reminder of this for this year!
There will be a city wide clean up day in mid-May. So start your spring cleaning. We will post more info and a date as when we have it set.
